Over three to four weeks your own hair grows and the bond loosens at the edges. Reattachment lifts the system, cleans everything underneath, and bonds it again with a fresh hold.
What happens in the appointment
- The system is lifted gently, without damaging the base or your scalp
- Old adhesive is removed from both the base and the scalp
- The scalp is cleaned and the area is trimmed where needed
- Fresh tape or glue is applied and the system is bonded and blended
How long it takes
About an hour, by appointment, in a private room. You walk out ready for work.
